The readers are available in three different styles to match the available space at the door. The reader 3 separate LEDs clearly indicate operation status to the user. Those color blind users can still recognise the status of the reader based on the LED positions. The readers feature a replaceable cover. Even after many years of war and tear, you can make it look new by replacing the reader cover.  This same feature allows for custom colors or patterns on the reader.

Proven reading technologies such as MIFARE® Classic and MIFARE® DESFire, along with Bluetooth® and NFC™ are supported along with many different legacy Prox technologies. The readers have an open interface (Triple Technology™) to retrofit firmware to add new technologies and remain future-proof with the Infinity Readers™.

The keypad readers have a high-quality keypad with backlit keys and are available in three styles. The discrete LEDs clearly indicate the status to the user and the keypad provides haptic, visual as well as acoustic feedback. The reader's LEDs clearly show the status to the user. The keypad provides additional haptic, visual and acoustic feedback.  Even color blind users can recognise the status of the reader based on the LED positions. The readers feature a replaceable cover. Even after many years of use, you can make it look new just by replacing the reader cover.

Like the PRx access readers, the KPx keypad readers have an open interface (Triple Technology^TM) to retrofit existing or future technologies with local or remote secure firmware updates.

All Readers

The doorLoxx® DAHM1 is an electronic fitting specifically designed for US doors. It is compatible with typical tubular and mortise locks. The compact and timeless design integrates seamlessly into any environment. Both visual and audible signals provide clear feedback to the user, even in bright daylight. The fitting features an extremely low-power wake-up mechanism, ensuring a very long battery life.

A multifunction button on the inside can be used for special functions, such as privacy or alarm. The handle is compatible with two different types of standard cylinders, such as KIK or SFIC.

The doorLoxx® LFR 3 is suitable for controlling compatible motor locks, supported by the IOD 1 module. The solution offers optimal user comfort and easy installation without complex wiring.

The LFR 3 is simply placed on the door leaf over the KIK or SFIC cylinder and connected to the respective motor lock via a short cable. If a mechanical emergency opening is necessary, the LFR 3 can be removed, and the KIK or SFIC cylinder can be used.

The electronic door lock LFR 3 features an extremely low-power wake-up mechanism, allowing it to achieve a very long battery life. Visual and audible signals provide clear feedback to the user, even in bright daylight. Various control functions, such as the "Office Function," "Permanent Open," or "Toggle Mode," are integrated by default. Each operation, along with the battery status, is transmitted via airLink® to the airLink® Spot and thus to the Commander Connect software.

The elegant electronic lock can be installed quickly and centrally managed with the Commander Connect software. Connect the lock and integrate into professional asset management software. In addition to common reading technologies such as MIFARE® DESFire and LEGIC®, the lock also supports Bluetooth^TM, which allows it to be opened with a mobile phone for convenience. The battery-powered Digital Safe is a rugged key safe for outdoor (IP65) and indoor use.  The Digital Safe is opened contactlessly with an access card credential or smartPhone app - the reading technology can be freely selected and all popular modern reading technologies such as MIFARE® DESFire, NFC™ or Bluetooth® are supported. This means that the Digital Safe can also be seamlessly integrated into an existing access control system and can be opened with the same credentials. The Digital Safe can also be flush mounted for best possible mechanical protection.

The doorLoxx® WCU 2 is an intelligent door control module. Similar to a controller, the WCU 2 offers multiple I/Os for connecting sensors and actuators in the door area, and an interface for connecting another Deister-compatible reader. Integration into the access control system is carried out like an electronic locking component.

The WCU 2 combines the features of the online world with the simplicity of electronic locking systems. In the standard version, a reader is also included in the WCU 2. For higher security needs, the WCU 2 door control module can remain as a control unit in the inner area, while an additional remote reader can be installed in the unprotected area.

The STC 1 P is a 1-door controller for electronic access control systems. The STC 1 P is installed together with the DCU 2 interface module to provide I/O ports.

The DIN rail housing can be easily installed in a control cabinet or under the ceiling to save space. Modern and secure reading protocols such as OSDP and transparent reader mode are supported.  Custom encryption keys can may be used via a SIM card slot. 

The STC 1 P is powered by PoE and is CloudReady and thus suitable for operation on-premise as well as via the cloud.

The DCU 2 door control unit is a door control interface for use with the STC 1 P single door controller. 

The DCU 2 is equipped with two unsupervised inputs, two Supervised Inputs, and two relay outputs.

The top-hat rail housing can be easily installed in the control cabinet or under the ceiling to save space. Modern and secure reader protocols such as OSDP or transparent reader mode are supported.

The OCU 8 is an 8-door controller for electronic access control systems and vehicle access control. The OCU 8 has 4x RS485 OSDP reader ports, with up to two readers port. It has 8x I/Os for connecting peripheral devices. The DIN rail housing can be easily installed in the control cabinet or under the ceiling to save space. Modern and secure reader protocols like OSDP or transparent reader mode are supported. Custom encryption keys can be used via a SIM card slot. The OCU 8 is powered by an external power supply and can control additional readers or peripherals via expansion modules. The OCU 8 controller is CloudReady and thus suitable for operation connected on-premise as well as via the cloud.

The OEU 8 expansion module has four RS485 reader connections, eight dry contact relay outputs (four changeover and four make contacts) and eight digital, potential-free inputs. With this extension unit, the OCU 8 controller can be supplemented with up to eight additional doors.

The extension unit is automatically recognised by the Controller OCU 8. Built-in LEDs indicate the device status as well as the switching states of the inputs and outputs, simplifying installation and commissioning.

The OEU 10/10 expansion module has ten dry contact relay outputs with changeover contacts and ten digital, potential-free inputs. This extension unit can be used for a wide variety of applications, including elevator systems. Thus, the OCU 10/10 can control up to ten floors of an elevator system per extension unit. The extension unit is automatically recognized by the OCU 8 controller. The device status and all switching states are indicated by LEDs simplifying installation and commissioning.

The cipherCard® is deister's high security access credential that meets today's security and management requirements. The cipherCard® provides highly secure encryption of access and user data, while offering flexibility for additional applications.

Support is available to transition from your existing access control system to our modern access control system. By making our Triple Technology^TM access control readers temporarily compatible with both existing legacy credentials and new secure IDs.
