Hillsong East Coast supports a young and diverse community across New York City, Boston, and New Jersey, with a focus on helping young adults build meaningful relationships and feel a sense of belonging. Many participants are between the ages of 20 and 35 and are navigating life in fast-paced urban environments, where it can be difficult to slow down, connect, and feel supported.

With support from Deister Electronics USA, Hillsong East Coast expanded programs designed to bring people together in intentional and welcoming ways. One of these initiatives was the Friends Retreat, a two-night experience created to help young adults strengthen friendships, reflect personally, and build emotional awareness. The retreat offered a space for participants to connect more deeply with one another and develop trust in a relaxed, supportive setting.

This support also helped grow a bi-weekly young adults program in New York City. Since its launch, the program has consistently brought together 45–50 participants and has become a familiar place for conversation, shared experiences, and connection. A key part of the program is developing volunteer leaders who help guide discussions and create an environment where everyone feels welcome.

These initiatives were created in response to challenges many young adults face today, including social isolation, rising anxiety, and the pressures of constant digital engagement. By focusing on real relationships and intentional connection, Hillsong East Coast is helping young people build support systems that extend beyond the program and into their everyday lives.
