Job Description:
As part of our growth, deister electronic France is strengthening its team and recruiting a Sales Engineer for the North/West region.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will join a dynamic team and be responsible for the commercial development (allocated to your sector) of our connected systems entity (key management cabinets, patrol management, long-range identification, online/offline access control, personal protection, etc.). You will interact with end customers, business partners, and distributors. You will participate in trade shows and develop a deep understanding of your market segment. Your challenge will be not only to listen to customers but also to identify the ideal solution from our extensive product portfolio.
This position is offered on a permanent contract (CDI) and is based at our headquarters at 15 avenue du Québec, Villebon sur Yvette (91140), Bat. Sternes 2. However, you will frequently travel within your allocated territory and once or twice a year to our headquarters in Germany.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet and promote our product ranges to end customers.
- Develop and animate a network of installer and integrator partners in the fields of security and identification and traceability (access control badge readers & electronic cylinders, electronic key & valuable item management, protection of vulnerable people, traceability of tasks and professional acts).
- Support and assist partners in their commercial development, response to various requests from end customers, as well as public tenders.
- Establish and finalize commercial contracts and/or offers with partners, and ensure the proper execution and conception of offers.
- Participate in and strengthen customer relationships through pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Present our solutions at trade shows we participate in and follow up on generated leads.
Your Profile:
- Commercial or technical background with 3-4 years of experience in selling solutions to end customers and developing a network of partners, installers & integrators of security solutions, identification, and RFID traceability solutions.
- Interest in teamwork and a passion for reliable and precise products are key factors for your success, as well as your focus on quality and the longevity of professional relationships.
- Technical skills in security systems (RFID, access control, intrusion detection, video) and identification systems based on RFID technology, as well as a good understanding of the specific requirements and constraints of public markets and industry standards and recommendations (APSAD, ANSSI, etc.).
- Rigorous, methodical, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong team and cooperative spirit.
- Good writing skills are necessary (presentation of technical and commercial offers) and proficiency in English would be an asset for integration within the group.
