The proxSafe pillar compartment system is an automatic safekeeping system for controlling individual take-out and return of valuables, documents and keys. Each pillar consists of a certain number of compartments with one additional service compartment for the installation and an emergency opening unit. The proxSafe pillar S system is operated by the proxSafe terminal. After successful user identification the corresponding compartment is released. proxSafe pillar S is also equipped with an automatic content monitoring system. Each compartment contains a proxCylinder which identifies the contents by a keyTag (electronic transponder) safely and reliably. The pillar compartment system will only open after an authorized user has pushed the compartment door.
