As a service company for cleanness and hygiene the City Clean GmbH & Co. KG in Berlin was specialize on renting and cleaning of mats. City Clean also offers their customers a rental and delivery service for laundry products and a laundry and delivery service for swap covers. As a nationwide operating company City Clean currently serves over 71,000 customers. The mats and swap covers will be cleaned in their own laundry and logistics center in Bötzow - one of the most modern laundries in Europe.

The project

As in all modern industrial companies also the sequences of a laundry require a powerful software with a high potential to optimize processes. If you want to use this profitable, a labeling of goods and products is essential. During the swap wash City Clean GmbH & Co. KG was sought a RFID technology which is suitable for labeling of swap covers and represents by high reliability an important tool for modern laundry logistics. The embroidered laundry transponder textag from deister electronic is permanently flexible and temperature-resistant. It is up to 250 wash- and mangle-cycles and can be unify easily, quickly and reliable with the laundry by heat-sealing technology. The RFID solution provides a bulk reading, a long range, resistance and can't be defeated by water and dirt. Via a UHF gate swap covers are recorded in seconds (bulk reading).
