UHF technology from deister electronic - Automobile manufacturer VOLVO opts for new RFID system with model XC60
Flexible and robust UHF RFID read/write systems from deister electronic provide fast and reliable identification of stationary and moving objects from various distances. Due to increased customer requests for more local intelligence in the reader, more flexibility in data management and extended connection possibilities deister electronic has now developed the unique industrial reader UDL150 dePXA. The UHF read device is equipped with an integrated 520 MHz PXA270 processor module and has an outstanding compact design with reader, PC and antenna in one housing (“3-in-1”). This makes installation most easy and protects the antenna even under harsh conditions with flying sparks, humidity and high temperatures. Moreover passive UHF RFID technology has evident advantages compared to 2D-barcodes regarding reading distance and flexibility.
