The active key fob can be used to directly release and control doorLoxx door release elements. Together with the SMB 5 Smart I/O Box it can also be used to control third-party systems and facilities.
The active key fob is equipped with a memory chip for "Cardnet or Tagnet" as well as a real-time clock to verify time profiles in the doorLoxx system. The integrated real-time clock ensures time zones can be activated as required, so that it is possible to limit levels of access accordingly. The recessed button guarantees it is reliable to use and excellent ergonomic comfort. A red and a green LED signalize entry authorized, entry denied as well as the battery status respectively. Optionally, it is also possible to integrate passive inlays in the housing to control previously installed systems in parallel or to operate mixed active and passive doorLoxx components within a system. All communications are secured by means of authentication and AES encryption.
